Exotic Flowers

Exotic flowers add breathtaking beauty and uniqueness to gardens, homes, weddings, celebrations, banquets and any arrangement. It is a common misconception that exotic flowers are the same as tropical. All tropical flowers are exotic to the Americas and Europe, but not all exotic flowers are tropical. There are thousands of various exotic flowers across the world.

Some of the especially unique exotic flowers include: The Parrot Flower, which is named after what it resembles; a bird. A Viceroy Tulip; although tulips are common, the beautiful crimson and white color distinguish it from the others. Blue Roses are rare and stunningly beautiful. Others include the African Starfish flower, the Oriental Lily, the Dutch Amaryllis, the Tugela Jade, and Titan Arun – one of the world’s largest flowers.

King Protea are among the most unusual looking exotic flowers. They come from South Africa and are prized for their rarity. They can have up to a 12 inch diameter. There are 370 different protea species – 120 of which are endangered. The number of different exotic flowers is virtually endless, so you won’t have a hard time finding a species that perfectly fits your occasion.
