Flower Delivery

Receiving a flower delivery is always exciting. To ensure that your delivery stays fresh as long as possible, there are a number of things you can do. You can also dry flowers and keep them around for a very long time.

Flowers are beautiful, smell great, and add a great decorative touch to any room. When a flower delivery is received, it not only shows appreciation to the sender to do your best to keep them alive and looking good as long as possible, but it also allows you to show off your beautiful delivery for longer. Re-cut the stems at an angle underwater; keep the stems constantly under water after cutting. Don’t let any foliage sit beneath the water line, and use the plant food that comes with the arrangement.

If the flower delivery came from a special person, or for a special occasion, or are just so beautiful, and you want to keep them for much longer then the 3-5 days fresh flowers typically last, consider drying them. To help the drying process, buy a drying agent such as silica gel. This will help the flowers maintain their color and shape as best as possible.
